SERVICES

GAP House Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, faith-based residential recovery program for women. Our program is THOR-approved and operates in accordance with GARR recovery residence standards, providing a structured, safe, accountable, and recovery-focused living environment.

Our 12-24 month program is designed to help women build a strong foundation for long-term recovery, responsibility, spiritual growth, healthy relationships, and independent living.

Residents participate in a structured program that may include:

Recovery Support & Accountability

Peer support, recovery planning, relapse-prevention education, accountability, goal setting, and development of healthy daily routines.

Faith-Based Growth

Bible study, church participation, spiritual mentoring, Christ-centered life-skills development, and opportunities to strengthen each resident's relationship with God.

Education & Life Skills

Classes addressing parenting, healthy relationships, boundaries, anger management, codependency, grief, trauma awareness, nutrition and wellness, financial responsibility, employment readiness, and independent living skills.

Community & Peer Support

Residents live in a supportive recovery community where they are encouraged to develop healthy relationships, practice personal accountability, and support one another in recovery.

THOR & GARR Standards

Our program emphasizes the principles expected within quality recovery housing, including a substance-free environment, resident rights and responsibilities, ethical practices, safety, structure, accountability, recovery support, peer involvement, and policies designed to promote stability and successful reintegration into the community.

Progressive Program Phases

The program progresses through structed phases, with increased responsibility and independence as residents demonstrate growth and stability. The final phase helps prepare women for employment, independent living, continued recovery, and successful transition back into the community.



GAP House Ministries is a recovery residence and supportive program, not a hospital or inpatient medical facility. We do not provide 24-hour medical care. When appropriate, residents may be connected with outside behavioral health, medical, counseling, or other community providers for services beyond the scope of residential program.
